Retirement Benefits:
Syngenta offers both a Pension Plan and an Investment Savings Plan
- Pension Plan - Employees are eligible to participate after completing a year of service and 975 you are fully vested in the benefit after 3 years of service
- The Investment Savings Plan- 401(k) - All employees are eligible to participate and Syngenta matches 100% on the first 4% of contribution and 50% on the next 2% contributed. Employees are immediately vested in the employer match.
- Employee Stock Purchase Plan - Offers employees an opportunity to take ownership of Syngenta stock and provides another investment option where you can receive matching company funds. Employees may contribute and Syngenta will provide a 50% match on employee contributions and the vesting period is 2 years.
Voluntary Benefits that are made available to Syngenta employees through additional payroll deductions are:
- Accident, Cancer and Critical Illness - These benefits are offered to complement Syngenta's core benefit plans. They provide benefits to help pay for the direct and indirect costs associated with covered accidents and certain illnesses.
- Long- Term Care- This benefit offered as an addition to our core benefits is open to Syngenta employees and is available to extended family members. The benefits is offered to cover expenses associated with in-home or nursing home care.
